Stepped back in time at this charming hotel, appreciating the thoughtful renovations and the fascinating historical art everywhere. The staff made us feel like family.

However, the squeaky floors were a bit unsettling at night. it added to the atmosphere but disrupted my sleep a few times.

During our stay, the host was exceedingly intrusive, crossing personal boundaries that made us uncomfortable. The room we were given lacked adequate heating, which made the night frigid and unbearable. Furthermore, the parking situation was chaotic, with very limited space that posed significant challenges for maneuvering our vehicle safely.

My stay here blew me away! It felt like visiting a grand family home from the late 1800s, filled with charm and fantastic history. The staff were friendly and the view from my room was fine, looking out over the mountains and town below.

Enjoyed the unique old hospital vibe of our Queen Room. It had a spacious layout with hardwood floors, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom stocked with free toiletries. The views of the surrounding mountains and Cripple Creek were absolutely stunning. Breakfast was light but pleasant, featuring bagels, fruit, and coffee. The cozy bar area was a nice touch too.
